The Orphan of Anthanaeum

The Queen of Forknowl was dead, as well as the prince, or so people thought. They were just two of the many victims of an inexplicable massacre. More than a decade since their deaths, the traders of Amarastar have crisscrossed the oceans. The Imperial Family of GuiAnDao has drawn a curtain of secrecy ever more tightly around their nation. The King of Forknowl has tried to keep the peace, despite the loss of his wife and son. No one in the Three Kingdoms has paid much attention to the tiny island of Anthanaeum. It was home to the Sage Tower and the mysterious Library of unknown depth, filled with elemental Masters and researchers adept at manipulating elemental magics.

Maddison a mixed-raced noble, known as the Cursed Prodigy, was hoping for a vacation when she traveled to Anthanaeum. There she meets a boy clinging to the life he loves, a girl who protects herself with exuberance, and a young inn keep with his future all planned out.

Unfortunately for Maddison when the King of Forknowl intercepted a disturbing message about a ‘breakthrough’, he requested her help to investigate the Sage Tower. Probing into the Tower, she uncovers the sinister workings of a dark conspiracy crafted by a god, a scheme that ties the god’s Order directly to the Massacre which occurred at the time of her birth. With Maddison’s life on the line, she and her friends must defend against the Order by banding together to unlock the mysteries of elemental magic and the history of Forknowl.
